Failure to properly install, maintain and inspect the equipment may result in equipment damage, improper operation, shortened equipment life span and voided warranty.

WARRANTY 1 LIMITED WARRANTY 01 IOT-SOLUTIONS INTELLIGENT INTELLIGENT-IoT-SOLUTIONS WARRANTY DISCLAIMER: Warranty Conditions 1.1 Introduction Light Controllers, Enclosure Controllers, Combo Sensors, Override Units and Gateways: The warranty period will be for a period of twelfth (12) months from the date upon which the product is delivered and received by the client. The warranty covers parts, systems, repairs and components of the device.   •	The supplier undertakes that all products supplied will be quality checked and properly tested as far as reasonably possible before delivering the goods to the client.  •	The supplier warrants that the goods supplied are new, unused, of the most recent or current models as per the latest contract agreement between the parties, and that they incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials unless provided otherwise in a contract.  •	The supplier further warrants that all goods supplied shall have no defect, arising from hardware design, materials, or workmanship (except when the design and/or material is required by the Client’s specifications) or from any act or omission of the supplier, that may develop under normal use of the supplied goods in the conditions prevailing in the country of destination. •	The said warranty is limited to defective workmanship or / and defective material, spares, components etc. on the part of the supplier arising from the assembly and manufacture of the product in question. In the event of the hardware, failing to function correctly as a result of defective workmanship either arising from the assembly or manufacturing of the product on the part of the supplier, then the supplier will bear all repair costs and undertakes to attend to the problem within two working days after receiving written notification from the client of the fault. Once the fault has been diagnosed by the supplier, a repair job number will be allocated, and an indication will be given to the client of the anticipated reasonable time that will be needed for the correction of the fault. •	The supplier will exchange / replace a defective product as a result of manufacturing issues within 7 days when the product was received by the client and utilised and returned in the same condition as received, for goods returned after the 7 day period the normal repair / replace conditions will follow. •	The supplier will provide training and theoretical material in regards of the product in terms of installation, functionality, commissioning, maintenance and repairs to ensure the client is fully and properly equipped / informed to work with the product as it is intended to.     1.2 The Supplier’s Responsibilities Batteries: The warranty period will be for a period of Six (6) months from the date upon which the battery is delivered and received by the client. 02 IOT-SOLUTIONS INTELLIGENT INTELLIGENT-IoT-SOLUTIONS WARRANTY DISCLAIMER: Warranty Conditions 1.3 The Client’s / End-User’s Responsibilities •	The client undertakes not to alter or in any way tamper with the products installed at any end user’s premises and where soever, howsoever, except with the supplier’s written consent first being obtained. •	The client shall promptly notify the supplier in writing of any claims arising under this warranty. The client must ensure that goods returned are properly packaged and returned with a report highlighting the defect / damage of the product. •	The client undertakes only to utilised trained and experienced staff for any product installations, commissioning, maintenance and repairs. •	The client further undertakes to ensure the content and instructions of this manual and together with training is totally adhered to and all relevant staff that he or she is responsible for is being made aware of this as well.     1.4 This Warranty Does Not Apply In The Following Conditions •	Consumable parts, such as batteries or protective coatings, cables etc. designed to diminish over time unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship. As with all batteries, the maximum capacity of the battery will decrease with time and use; this is not a defect. Only defective batteries and batteries that leak are covered by this warranty. •	Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, cracks or other cosmetic damage after the product was received in a good condition. •	Normal wear and tear or ageing of the product. •	Damage caused by use with non-approved products from the supplier. Defects or damage that result from the use of non-approved branded or certified Products, accessories or other peripheral equipment, including without limitation housings, parts, or software, are excluded from coverage. •	Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire, earthquake or other external causes; including but not limited to: (i) improper usage or operation (e.g. operating the Product outside their permitted or intended uses as defined , including but not limited to  the Products' User Manual, Quick Start Guide, Online Tutorials, and other documentation), improper storage (e.g. subjecting the Product to extreme temperatures), abuse or neglect (e.g. broken/bent/missing clips/fasteners/connectors); impact damage (e.g. dropping the Product) (ii) contact with liquids, water, rain, extreme humidity, heavy perspiration or other moisture; sand, food, dirt or similar substances (except for Products sold as resistant to such substances, but only to the extent  the damage was not caused by incorrectly securing the device’s protective elements or subjecting the Product to conditions beyond its stated specifications or limits); (iii) use of the Products for commercial rental purposes; or (iv) external causes or acts which are not the fault of the supplier, including but not limited to flood, fire, earthquake, tornado or other acts of Nature, are excluded from coverage.   •	Unauthorized Service or Modification. Defects or damage resulting from service, testing, adjustment, installation, maintenance, alteration, or modification in any way, including but not limited to tampering with or altering the software, by someone other than the supplier, or its authorized service centres, are excluded from coverage.  Notwithstanding the foregoing, any Product which has had its firmware / boot-loader unlocked, or whose operating system has been altered, including any failed attempts to unlock the firmware / boot-loader or alter such operating system, is not covered by this warranty, regardless of whether such modifications are authorized, approved, or otherwise sanctioned by the supplier. 03 IOT-SOLUTIONS INTELLIGENT INTELLIGENT-IoT-SOLUTIONS WARRANTY DISCLAIMER: Warranty Conditions •	A product or part that has been modified in any manner without the written permission of the supplier. Products that have been altered in any manner so as to prevent the supplier from determining whether such Products are covered under the terms of this Limited Warranty are excluded from coverage. The forgoing shall include but not be limited to (i) serial numbers, date tags or other manufacturer coding that has been removed, altered or obliterated; (ii) mismatched or duplicated serial numbers; or (iii) broken seals or other evidence of tampering.  Do not open the Product or attempt to repair the Product yourself; such conduct may cause damage that is not covered by this warranty. (g) Normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal ageing of the product. •	Defects, damages, or failure caused during installations, commissioning, maintenance and repairs or other events not under the control of the supplier. •	Defects, damages, or the failure of the Product due to any communication service or network the client subscribe to or use with the Products not under the control of the client. •	All software, including operating system software, third-party software, applications, and all other software of any kind. Software distributed by the supplier is provided “AS-IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” “WITH ALL FAULTS” and without a warranty of any kind. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-supplier product or any software, even if packaged or sold with the supplier hardware, unless otherwise required by applicable local law. •	Products that have been refurbished, reconditioned, or re-manufactured, except for Products repaired or replaced pursuant to the terms of this Limited Warranty. If damage is outside the scope of warranty coverage, repair services may be available, but all costs associated with such out of warranty repair will be the responsibility of the client.     1.5 Extended Warranties •	An extended warranty can be arranged, contact your supplier for more information.
